Gold Coast Light Rail, Queensland
Date: 2013 to 2015
Gold Coast Light Rail, or G:link, is a 20km light rail system incorporating 19 stations and is Queensland’s first ever light rail system. King Planning was engaged by the Queensland Government to assist and advise in relation to the assessment of the contractor’s delay claims.

Sydney’s Cross City Tunnel, New South Wales
Date: 2005 to 2007
Sydney’s Cross City Tunnel runs for 2.1km and links the CBD, Darling Harbour and the airport. It was constructed between 2003 and 2005. King Planning was engaged by the contractor to carry out forensic delay analysis and provide advice in relation to its claims against the head contractor. King Planning’s analysis was used in mediation at which the parties reached a settlement.

Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Access System MRT, Taiwan
Date: 2016 to present
The Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Access System MRT (mass rapid transit) is a 51km rapid transit line which connects various municipalities with the Taiwan International Airport. It began commercial operation in 2017. King Planning acts for a subcontractor, the claimant in arbitral proceedings against the contractor, in relation to the design, supply, testing and commissioning of signalling and driverless train control systems. We are continuing to provide delay analysis and expert witness services.
